The original Titanic set sail for its “first maiden voyage on April 10th, 1912” with about 2300 people on board. It was the largest and most luxurious ship for that time period. The White Star Line, has rebuilt a perfect visual copy of the famous Titanic ship. We have made some changes: the elimination of steerage and the addition of enough lifeboats for all passengers.
The White Star Line will launch the new Titanic on Friday, December 1st, 2009 for her first maiden voyage. We will be following the original itinerary from the 1912 RMS Titanic cruise. A memorial service, to pay tribute to the perished passengers and crew, is scheduled. We hope you plan to join us for this epic and safe adventure.
The voyage will begin in Southampton passing Cherbourg heading to Cobh Ireland for the next port stop. We will pass the Titanic memorial site on our way to our next port in Halifax, Canada. Our final port will be New York, USA.
Our ship has nine different decks including the Marina Deck, Pacific Deck, Atlantic Deck, Main Deck, Coral Deck, Reef Deck, Aqua Deck, Lounge Deck, and Port Deck. There are 710 cabins with a standard occupancy of 1350 passengers. Click "Our Ship" to learn more.
Recently I had the pleasure of attending the Celebrity Cruise. I should say, I did not much attend as I did party the whole time. I stayed in the Owner’s Suite, and it was beyond exceptional. I felt as if I was staying at the Presidential Suite in the Palms. The room had an open bar, Jacuzzi tub to fit eight, which came in handy during my many late night parties on the ship. The room was fully furnished with modern styling plasma TVs in both the bedroom and living area.
I spent the majority of my time in the casino playing many games and throwing my money around. The dealers are very friendly and the variety of games is in comparison to Las Vegas.
I also had the chance to attend two Captain’s dinners, where they had a variety of food from the many restaurants on board. My favorite, and what I would recommend, is the Azteca Mexican Restaurant. It is top notch. After dinner, the Captain even invited me to steer the ship and see how it all works. Anyone can have a tour if they just ask!
All in All I would highly recommend this cruise to all my friends and to anyone who enjoys great accommodations, friendly service, excellent food & entertainment, and an overall great time.
During my break from gossip girl and many of my other projects, I was invited to attend the Celebrity Cruise of the new Titanic. I stayed in the Superior Suite. I would highly recommend the room; it is worth the money. It had a huge California King bed, with the softest sheets ever, and a huge Jacuzzi tub that I relaxed in many nights before bed.
My days were spent at Pacific Massage. There I got many wonderful facials, pedicures, manicures, full body massages, and my hair styled. It was awesome and so relaxing; all a huge break from my hectic life.
My nights were spent at any of the many bars the cruise offers. The Loft Bar was my favorite, mostly because of the service and variety of drinks. The food onboard was amazing. I dined at all the restaurants, and any of the four are quite satisfying. After dinner, I danced the calories off in the Breeze Lounge, where they offer live music and exceptional cocktails.
The cruise was just what I needed. I have not had a vacation that pampering, relaxing, and exciting ever! I made a lot of memories and friend that will last a lifetime! I would highly recommend it to anyone who would like to relax, enjoy life, and get away!
